Blue Plum Gallery

That’s OK, I didn’t believe these colors either and I was standing right there… :-)

It was already a fairly colorful sunset, since there were thunderheads to the east and both middle and high thin clouds to the west. Not too long before actual sunset the clouds across the whole sky picked up this incredible color coming from the clouds to the west of me, and this light suffused everything for perhaps five minutes.

I missed a day. I was in the Sierra on Sunday and Monday and didn’t get home until 12:05 in the morning.
