I'm pretty certain that this is the last chance for decent aspen color this season. I do plan to do a long one-day loop tomorrow (Sunday). I'll probably go over Carson, then Monitor, and then head south on 395 to as far as Lee Vining. I'm interested in Conway, Lundy, and perhaps Lee Vining Canyon - and yes, I have managed to hit all of this stuff on one-day trips before.
