It seems that the opinions flail wildly among: <ul> <li>WORST product ever!!! <li>ORDERS of magnitude better than ANYTHING that ever came before! <li>How could Canon be so stupid! <li>I'll pay anyone $500 "finders fee" to get me on RIGHT NOW! <li>The noise on this camera is totally terrible - a REAL embarrassment. <li>I'm switching to Nikon! <li>I'm switching to Canon! <li>Hasn't the megapixel race gone far enough!? </ul> And on.
