I actually think of two "Charlie comments" when I think about making this photo. Your original "atmospheric recession" about a Big Sur (Rocky Creek Bridge) photo of mine came back to me as did your comment about waiting for a photo to whisper "Take me!" to you. I was between two places I intended to photograph when I passed by this view and it screamed "Take me!"
