This is a second photograph in the series of experiments with highly abstracted and very much post-processed photographs of foliage. This one began with a hand-held photograph of a couple of leaves on a privet bush (that really needs trimming!) in our garden. From that simple starting point, the visual improvisation began.

    1. There are many layers of a single image. The various layers have been stretched and distorted and even flipped. Colors were freely modified in some of the layers as well. Some luminosity curve layers were “painted on”‘as well to vary the lightness of parts of the image.
